Apsara offers a unique selection of dance styles rarely seen on the Polish market. She is recognized both in Poland and internationally for her imaginative and original performances, as well as for her deep knowledge and effective teaching methodology.

Education

Apsara is an instructor with over 10 years of experience teaching various dance styles at different levels and working with diverse age groups. She leads both regular classes (current schedule available on the Dance Classes page) and workshops. For a full list of workshops, please contact her directly. In addition to dance techniques, Apsara also offers lectures on dance culture, costumes, traditions, and the history of Silk Road dances.

Shows

Apsara has been performing on stage practically since the beginning of her dance education. She has presented numerous solo performances at festivals, intercultural events, and commercial shows. She also dances in ensembles and collaborative projects.

Within the Persian dance community, Apsara is known for her creativity and originality, always balanced with respect for tradition. Each performance is unique — in her solo shows, she rarely repeats the same choreography twice — and meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail. Every show features choreography precisely illustrating the music and a costume designed and sewn by Apsara herself.

Apsara also collaborates with musical ensembles, making performances with live music possible. She can present a wide range of dance styles (descriptions available in the Dance section). Some of these techniques can be performed with props — such as a flowing veil, resonant zanguleh (“Persian castanets,” also known as zills or saggats), a daire frame drum or tambourine, two handkerchiefs, or even… the moon.

In addition to solo performances, Apsara can organize shows with the Afsanesara Dance Ensemble or with other ensembles she collaborates with, in styles including Chinese dance, Armenian dance, Georgian dance, and Arabic folk dance. Through her performances, Apsara tells stories of beautiful emotions, taking the audience on a journey to distant lands.

Event Offerings

Apsara can make your event truly unforgettable with her performance! She has experience performing at corporate events, weddings, and bachelorette parties.

For events, Apsara can offer dance shows interwoven with workshops for participants, stories about culture and traditions, fairy tales, games and activities from the Orient, opportunities to try on traditional costumes, and even dancing to popular Oriental hits.

For larger events, collaboration with a live musical ensemble is also possible, as well as performances by the Afsanesara Dance Ensemble and other projects Apsara is involved in. She will take your guests on a magical journey through Asia, ensuring an evening to remember.

Choreography

Apsara is a certified choreographer. She can create choreographies for dancers of various levels and styles. Apsara is also experienced in dance theatre genre as well as creating blocking and stage movement for dramatic theatre as well as site-specific performance in art galleries and museums.
